Aligned to our value of investing in the future, PSC has been supporting engineers across the world to develop their education and experience through our partnerships with academia, partners, educational institutions and other key stakeholders.
In New Zealand, PSC has partnered with the Aruhiko – Power Engineering Excellence Trust (PEET) for over 20 years through our offering of scholarships to students in their final year of university.
Our NZ General Manager Peter Brown is the Deputy-Chair of PEET and is actively involved in delivering on PEET’s mission “to inspire and enable tomorrow’s power engineering talent by sharing responsibility, knowledge and opportunity across academia and industry.”
In fact, PSC recently hired Hamish Allan who was the 2019-2021 PEET scholarship recipient and he is now a valued member of our team in New Zealand as Graduate Power Systems Engineer.
PSC is broadening our support of this initiative this year, offering two scholarships, one for a 3rd year and another for a final year student.
We encourage you to seek more information here, as applications are now open for the Aruhiko – PEET Undergraduate Scholarship for Electrical and Electronic Engineering study at the University of Canterbury (UC) and the University of Auckland (UA).
