Congratulations to PSC Australia’s Hesam Marzooghi for his contribution to this technical article featured in MDPI’s open-access Applied Sciences journal. The article “Relationship between Fault Level and System Strength in Future Renewable-Rich Power Grids” is a collaborative effort between PSC Australia and several universities, including Princess Sumaya University for Technology, University of Vaasa, The University of Jordan, German Jordanian University and Tafila Technical University.

Aref Pouryekta PSC welcomes Aref Pouryekta to the APAC Power Systems Studies team. Aref has over ten years of experience in power system engineering design and analysis. He is specialized in developing control systems and logic circuits for microgrids and renewable energy sources such as solar PV plants, biomass, biogas, mini-hydro generators, and wind turbines. Aref received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical power systems engineering in 2006 and 2010 in Iran and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Malaysia in 2017. Aref is based in our Brisbane, Australia, office.

Simon Darvish PSC welcomes Simon Darvish to the APAC Power Systems Studies team. Simon is an experienced engineer and power system modeler. Simon is a professional in steady state and dynamic power system study, grid connection studies, analytical skills, systems analysis, commissioning, control systems and simulation with more than 15 years of experience. Simon has obtained a PhD in Power System Engineering. Simon is based in our Melbourne, Australia, office.

Marilyn Barragán PSC welcomes Marilyn Barrragán to the Power Networks North America team as a Studies Consultant. Marilyn is an experienced electromechanical engineer who received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Superior in Poza Rica, Mexico, in 2016 and earned a Master’s degree in Power Systems from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico. Marilyn is based in our Vancouver, BC office.

Miguel Penagos PSC welcomes Miguel Penagos to the Power Networks North America team as a Studies Consultant. Miguel has over ten years of experience in power system analysis and operation. His expertise includes steady-state and dynamic analysis of power systems modeling and simulation. Miguel graduated in electrical engineering from Universidad Veracruzana in 2009 and holds a Master’s degree in Power Systems from CINVESTAV Mexico. Miguel is based in our Vancouver, BC office.
