PSC and Harmonic have joined forces to launch a new service offering to the electricity industry, combining Power Systems Engineering and Data Science. ‘PSC Analytics’ was officially launched in Wellington on 26 April 2017.
Recognising the rapid change affecting the electricity sector and the approaching ‘data tsunami’, PSC and Harmonic will work together to solve complex industry challenges through advanced analytics.
The proliferation of the Internet of things (IoT), Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and the ongoing pressure on electricity industry companies to preserve assets, ensure resiliency and make ‘data driven’ investment decisions makes analytics a vital asset management tool.
“PSC is pleased to partner with Harmonic to offer this new service. We see the combination of Harmonic’s data science capability coupled with PSC’s power systems engineering capability as a powerful combination of skills that will enable us to help clients solve the complex problems now presented within the electricity industry.” says Warwick Glendenning, PSC’s Asia Pacific & Europe CEO.
PSC and Harmonic will provide electricity industry companies a comprehensive analytics service. We help our clients to unlock the value of big data to solve complex challenges and make sound investment and operational decisions.
