Tim Miles
As the global energy landscape rapidly evolves, there’s an increasing demand for adaptable, visionary leadership to navigate the industry’s dynamic nature. PSC’s UK team is meeting this demand by adding new talent to its leadership pool. I’m proud to announce that we recently hired Seamus Kennedy as General Manager (GM) of Europe/UK’s Power Network and HVDC teams.
Seamus and I met about 14 years ago while working on the National Grid’s Electricity Alliance (South West), a joint venture between National Grid, Morrison Utility Services, Jacobs, and Mitsubishi Electric Europe. Seamus was a project engineer with Morrison Utility Services, and I was National Grid’s project manager.
We enjoyed working together, and I noticed then that Seamus had excellent technical skills and demonstrated leadership qualities. At the time, we both thought it would be great to work together in the future, so I’m delighted our paths crossed again and Seamus agreed to join PSC UK as our GM of Power Networks and HVDC.
“I’m excited to be a member of the PSC team; things have come full circle from my first introduction to Tim in 2009. Our work together planted the seed that informed my decision to join PSC. I was also drawn to how PSC invests in its culture and people by encouraging personal and professional development not just in the business needs, but also in areas where people’s interests lie.”
